A heart broken photo session at the studio today. Merlin’s farewell photoshoot.
Every year we photograph people of all ages from newborn of couple days old to seniors of 80+ years old . In most of the time they are happy occasions celebrating a new chapter in life or precious family reunions . Today I have the toughest photo shoot of this year …. for Merlin , a cute 11 years old Corgi who has cancer and this is his last photoshoot . For those of you who has pets before and had emotional connections with pets know how difficult to go through this period of time . And I have an unexplainable pressure when I was photographing him with his family because this will be the last chance to capture this dog and his family in photographs. It was too much for them to handle during their photo viewing process while they are looking at their precious dog’s last set of photos , I couldn’t look straight at my customer’s faces .
